Perfect for beginners, young learners, and anyone starting their drone journey in a safe, structured environment.
Participation Requirements – Important Information for all Students & Parents
The Summer Scheme is not a £25 drop‑in flying session. It is a structured, fully supervised training experience designed for students who already have a basic understanding of drone flying and want safe access to a controlled environment to build confidence and gain real flying experience.
The programme is inclusive and suitable for all students, including wheelchair users, ladies, and pensioners with appropriate support and accessible flying arrangements in place.
Students must arrive with:
A basic understanding of how to operate a drone
A valid Flyer ID, Operator ID, and Drone Insurance Certificate
A willingness to follow all safety instructions throughout the session
For complete beginners, it is strongly recommended that the Beginner Drone Pilot Training is completed first, as this provides the essential foundation required before joining the Summer Scheme.
All participants must comply with the full Terms & Conditions of the programme, which are in place to ensure safety, legal compliance, and a positive experience for all students.
The Summer Scheme is designed to provide pilots with safe, supervised access to a controlled flying environment, enabling them to enjoy flying, build confidence, and develop practical skills. If you require specialist drone training or specialist 1 to 1 training you can contact Robert directly for a price.
